Barrister Dr. Saif warns federal government against “conspiracies” as province insists on Khan’s consultation for fiscal decisions
PESHAWAR: Advisor to the Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Information, Barrister Dr. Saif has said that the provincial budget will be approved only after consultation with Imran Khan.He emphasized that since the public voted for Imran Khan’s ideology, the approval of the budget is also conditional upon his consultation.
The advisor said that public will not tolerate any disrespect to their mandate under any circumstances. If any attempt is made to impose any kind of emergency in the province, the so-called fake government will not last even a single day. He made it clear that the authority to dissolve the provincial assembly lies solely with the Chief Minister.
Barrister Saif asserted that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is the only province where a government truly representative of the public has been formed based on Form 45, whereas the federal and other provincial governments are relying on fake foundation of Form 47. He claimed that these governments are so weak that even a slight push would be enough to bring them down.
He further stated that since the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa voted for Imran Khan’s ideology, all important decisions will be made only with his consultation. He warned the federal government to refrain from using cheap tactics and to arrange a meeting with Imran Khan as soon as possible.
Barrister Dr. Saif accused the federal government of hatching plans to weaken the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government, which is tantamount to weakening Pakistan itself. He said the people are being punished for voting for Imran Khan, despite the fact that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is a vital part of the federation.
He warned that any conspiracy by the federal government against Khyber Pakhtunkhwa would lead to serious consequences. He said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, and according to Imran Khan’s vision, the development process in the province is progressing rapidly—something the federal government cannot digest. That is why new conspiracies are being hatched every day.
He concluded by saying that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is the stronghold of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and that the movement for Imran Khan’s release will also be led from here in full force. He said that false cases were filed to imprison Imran Khan, but soon all these fabricated cases will be dismissed and Imran Khan’s release will be ensured.
