Peshawar: Adviser to the Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Information and Public Relations, Barrister Dr. Saif, has said that after facing a humiliating defeat in war, India has now resorted to water aggression. He warned that just like the consequences of war, India will also have to face serious repercussions for its water aggression. He stated that using hostile tactics has always been a habit of the Modi government.
Dr. Saif further said that in this difficult time, the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa stands firmly with the people of Punjab. Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has offered every possible support to Punjab. He added that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa itself has been severely affected by floods; however, under the leadership of Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, the provincial government carried out a remarkable rescue operation during the floods.
Highlighting the efforts, he informed that nearly 6,000 people were rescued from flood-hit areas. Following the rescue operations, the process of relief and rehabilitation is underway, with the Chief Minister personally supervising the operations. He further stated that compensation payments are being disbursed swiftly so far, the families of martyrs have been provided cheques amounting to over Rs. 665 million, while the injured have received cheques worth Rs. 20 million.
