Barrister Dr. Saif demands immediate access to Imran Khan for budget consultations, warns of deepening national crisis

PESHAWAR:

Peshawar: Advisor to the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Information and Public Relations, Barrister Dr. Saif, has stated that the malicious intent of the illegitimate, mandate-stolen federal government is no longer hidden from anyone. He emphasized that consultation with Chairman Imran Khan on importantant matters such as the provincial budget is imperative, as the people have voted for his ideology, vision, and leadership.

He further said that preventing the leadership of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from meeting their leader, Imran Khan, is not only a blatant example of bad faith but also a disgrace to the public mandate and a clear violation of judicial orders.

Hindering an elected Chief Minister from consulting with his party leader reflects the narrow-mindedness and authoritarian attitude of the federal government.
Barrister Dr. Saif added that the illegitimate federal government is punishing Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for its genuine public mandate. This discriminatory behavior is undermining national unity and stands in direct contradiction to the spirit of the Constitution and democracy. Imran Khan is the leader whom the people have elected as a symbol of hope for their future. To exclude him from consultation is a direct insult to public opinion and democratic values.

He demanded that the leadership of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa be immediately allowed to meet with Chairman Imran Khan so that the people’s mandate may be duly respected. He warned that the fake government’s hostility towards Imran Khan is inflicting irreparable damage to national cohesion, the consequences of which could be severe. Barrister Dr. Saif concluded by urging the federal government to refrain from resorting to such petty and undemocratic tactics.
