Peshawar: Barrister Dr. Saif, Advisor to the Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Information and Public Relations, has expressed deep sorrow and grief over the loss of lives and property caused by the recent earthquake in Afghanistan.
Expressing sympathy and solidarity with the affected families, he said that in this hour of difficulty, the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa stand shoulder to shoulder with their Afghan brothers and assure them of every possible assistance.
Barrister Dr. Saif assured that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government would extend full support to the Afghan people. He stated that the province’s hospitals are open and ready to provide treatment to Afghan brothers injured in the earthquake.
He further said that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government equally shares the pain of their Afghan brothers. He added that Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur met with the Afghan Ambassador yesterday and assured him of complete cooperation on behalf of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government.
