Advisor Barrister Saif Condemns ‘Mandate Thieves’ for Slowing Internet, Blames Incompetence for Devastating Pakistan’s Digital and IT Sectors
Peshawar: Advisor to Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for Information and Public Relations Barrister Dr. Saif has stated that the unconstitutional action of the “mandate thieves” in slowing down the internet is causing immense suffering to the public. The slow internet has inflicted billions in losses on the e-commerce industry. It has also devastated the digital and IT sectors in the country. He expressed these views in a statement issued from here. Barrister Dr. Saif further mentioned that while other countries are providing their citizens with 5G and advanced internet services, the incompetent group has pushed every sector to the brink of destruction. The incompetent federal mandate-stealing group has pushed the country back to the Stone Age. The Form 47 group has also imposed restrictions on social media platforms. Digital rights and human rights organizations should raise their voices against the firewall, social media shutdown, and slow internet in Pakistan.
