“No Place for Discord”, Imran Khan Directs KP CM on Party Unity, Rule of Law Movement in Key Adiala Meeting

Islamabad: Advisor to the Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Information and Public Relations, Barrister Dr. Saif, has said that Chief Minister Ali Amin Khan Gandapur held an important meeting on Monday, 29th September, with Chairman Imran Khan at Adiala Jail. The meeting lasted for more than two hours, during which detailed discussions were held on law and order, security, and related matters in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Barrister Dr. Saif stated that Imran Khan expressed his full confidence in Chief Minister Ali Amin Khan Gandapur. The Chief Minister briefed Imran Khan on the provincial government’s measures regarding law and order, including the convening of tribal jirgas for peace efforts. The two leaders also had an in-depth exchange on the issue of dialogue with Afghanistan, and Imran Khan directed the Chief Minister to ensure effective coordination and engagement in this regard.

Imran Khan was given a comprehensive briefing on the province’s economic situation and budgetary matters. The Chief Minister apprised him of steps taken by the provincial government for economic stability, on which Imran Khan expressed satisfaction. Barrister Dr. Saif added that, on the instructions of Imran Khan, Advisor on Finance Muzzammil Aslam has also been called for a detailed briefing on financial and budgetary issues.

During the meeting, the performance of various departments and ministers was also discussed. Imran Khan granted the Chief Minister full authority to take necessary measures for improvement. He further instructed to accelerate the movement for the rule of law and “Haqiqi Azadi,” directing the Chief Minister to take all necessary steps in this regard.

The meeting also addressed internal party matters. Imran Khan issued firm instructions to curb divisive tendencies and negative statements that could harm party unity, making it clear that there is no place in the party for those who create discord.

Barrister Dr. Saif further informed that the Chief Minister will approach the Supreme Court again tomorrow regarding the restrictions on meetings with Imran Khan. He emphasized that the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have given their mandate to Imran Khan, and therefore, regular consultation with him is of utmost importance.
